History

Since 1873, Seneca Millwork has been manufacturing quality hardwood products in Fostoria, Ohio.   The name has changed several times over the years along with the products made, but they have always been related to wood.  Some of the items produced over the years include flour barrels, fireplace mantles, ammunition boxes during war efforts, parts for children’s sleds and wagons, general building materials, and custom stairways.

In 1996, we relocated to our current facility located at 300 Court Place.  This move, plus major capital investments in state-of-the-art equipment, dramatically increased our capacity, efficiency, and production capabilities.

Using the knowledge and skills of a long heritage of craftsmen, and utilizing today’s best technology, Seneca Millwork now dedicates our expertise and resources to becoming a major manufacturer of hardwood transitions used in the floor covering industry.  Our moldings may be found at health care and retirement nursing homes in many states.  We have also manufactured many items for post offices, schools, hotels, churches, state capitol buildings and country clubs.

Seneca Millwork has a progressive vision for the future.  By fulfilling our motto of Signature Craftsmanship, we look forward to continued growth for the company and our customers.
